My explorations this semester have revolved around the interaction between the static vs. moving viewpoint as well as the implication of individuals in architecture. My architecture harnesses the potential of the north facade of 99 Albert Street through projection and shadow instantly reacts to and implicates the users and patrons of the Exchange District. Balancing two programs, my project serves as both a video store as well as public movie theatre; the project works to extend the life of the exchange past its normal 9-5 hours and foster a sense of community throughout the night all while providing a service the community is currently without.
